In 2020, we passed An Act Creating a Next Generation Roadmap for Massachusetts Climate Policy. This bill uses a combination of education, subsidies for clean energy, mandates for the retirement of fossil fuel energy, consumer incentives, the development of a green force and other public policy methods which will result in Net Zero emissions by 2050. It is one of the strongest and most comprehensive climate bills in the US. Combating climate change is one of my top legislative priorities.”
